You play as the "Arbiter," a neutral entity tasked with maintaining the equilibrium of the afterlife. Your interface allows you to direct the souls of the fallen into either the Golden Army of the Heavens or the Infernal Legion of the Abyss.
The game uses a "Macro-Management" system, where you don't control individual soldiers, but rather the divine laws and tactical formations of entire legions.
